• Dates for future Committee meetings
  • We agreed that our goal would be to have our committee meetings the Saturday 2 weeks prior to the event. There was only one event this regular schedule didn’t work for so we placed it 1 week ahead of time to compensate. the dates are as follows:
    • April 28th
    • June 16th
    • July 4th
    • September October 27 (Tentative)
    • November 10
    • December 1st
• Scheduling Workday
  • March 31st was decided as the date for a work day but due to heavy rain, we held off and only worked on the storage unit.
• Discuss 2018 points system for the year
  • It was decided that we would have 2 separate points systems this year. One for the overall championship and one per class. 1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place, and 4th place in the overall championship will receive 5, 4, 3, and 2 points respectively and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place will receive 4, 3, and 2 points respectively with all other placements getting 1 point per event.
  • We decided that communications about the first event not being a points event were not done properly and so for that reason the first event of the year will be a points event.
• Issues from Event 1
  • Registration difficulties
    • A later time was set for registration to start to cut down on the number of incomplete registrations due to missing paperwork
  • Payment issues
    • Decided to add an onsite payment method to allow card payments onsite
  • run order confusion
    • Determined one person to be in charge of final say in run order
  • Chain of command
    • A new chain of command was determined to ensure that only the right authorities could make certain decisions about the event.
  • Helmet Tracking
    • A new Helmet tracking sheet was created to make tracking down helmets an easier process
• O’Riely’s Discount
  • Agreed to go forward with establishing a discount at O’Riely’s for the RallyX program.
• Loaning Cones
  • A vote was cast to allow the use of RallyX cones for the Misfit Toy’s charity organization.
• Rough Budget
  • A rough budget was discussed by the committee for this year.
